I would give this place 0 stars if that was an option. I had to leave AMA despite being in a horrible place with my eating disorder because they were not trauma informed and were harming me emotionally. My eating regressed the whole time I was there because they don’t feed their patients- I mean they were “graduating” successfully discharging super underweight and medically unstable people. This program is horrible. My daughter goes here for IOP and they have a severe lack of communication, no empathy, and no positive take aways from the groups. They are so one track focused that it does not allow you the opportunity to still maintain a healthy life balance through the eating disorder recovery. I am extremely disappointed and pray that whoever is looking for a place to go for themselves or child, they take some time and review other places before deciding on this one.
