They saved my daughter! They have the most caring staff I have ever seen. They are very organized and professional and the best facility hands down in regard to treating eating disorders. The staff and nurses were very friendly and knowledgeable and helped my daughter to overcome her anorexia and anxiety. The teachers and therapists did a great job to educate her and address her body image disturbance. First of all these two other reviews are NOT related to the Calabasas house! This is the literally the WORSE facility ever! If you want your child to get better RUN from this place. They keep your child for longer than needed especially if you have good insurance. My daughter got worse and worse when she was there. I had to report this facility to the regional director who immediately removed my daughter from there. Little nido is the best eating disorder residential around. They have the most caring and amazing staff that you could ever ask for! The therapists: Tessa, Olivia and Hanna are so knowledgeable and really work on the deep and important things in therapy in order to break free from ed. It is a milieu of 6 people which is really nice. You get to know each person really well and it becomes like your family. I spent a few months at Monte Nido Malibu, those few months literally saved my life. I didn't want to go, I was afraid of it all, why would this help when none of the others did? but I was at a point where it was either go & try, or die. I finally decided I wasn't dying, that it wasn't my decision when my time on this earth is up.
