Monte Nido of Westchester is absolutely not a place I would recommend for anyone seeking help with an eating disorder. Two staff members, Kim and Maria S., are particularly problematic. They are incredibly untrustworthy, lacking any compassion or empathy towards their patients, who they insist on calling “clients.” Their quick judgments and belittling comments only serve to heighten anxiety, making you feel unworthy and undeserving of care. The part of my treatment that was most meaningful was connecting with other clients and helping each other with our struggles. I would 100% recommend this program.
The aftercare planning process was effective in giving me the tools to continue my treatment and recovery. I am glad I came here.
The treatment overall was very effectiveand I felt safe during treatment. I would recommend this program if someone needed treatment.
Primary group where feedback was given and received from other clients was instrumenal in my recovery. Monte Nido gave me another chance at the life I was always scared of living.
