I was in Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Boston for 4 months from Feburary 2023 to May 2023. Although the other clients there were wonderful, I was the youngest (young teenager) of the whole group. I was constantly told to “step up” and was threatened to be sent back to inpatient and residential many times. My Therapist was wonderful. That's the only positive feedback I have about my 6 weeks with Monte Nido. I entered treatment for binge eating disorder and left treatment having made zero progress and gaining another 15 pounds from being forced to eat their meal plan during the day and still binging at night. I understand the health at every size model and loved the idea of reframing body image but being morbidly obese, pre diabetic, and unable to be physically active due to my size. The monte nido program is excellent for recovery, but this company doesn’t care even a little bit about you. Their billing department has continued to disrespect me and over charge me and then not fix their mistakes. Nearly 7 months after receiving treatment here I got a bill in the mail for nearly $1,000 despite showing I owe them 0 dollars on my insurance Explanation of Benefits. I had postive experiences here from the moment I came in. My therapists were caring and made me feel heard, and the programs themelves were very helpful. Totally recommended

I just really appreciate Monte Nido's approach to recovery and feel more prepared to re-enter the world. The staff was amazing and were wonderful helping me discovery what helped me to cope without my binge eating disorder. Beyond clinical help they took time to get to know every client making the experience more personal.
