(2024) AMAZING care! I always recommend this place! Nancie was such a touch yet effective family therapist. All the RCs cared so much and were always there for us (shoutout Katelyn and Anna). The therapists literally ROCKED the groups. My therapist truly broke down a lot of barriers I'd developed. Psych and med were good, too. Housing was very cozy! Adult side is pretty small, especially compared to the adolescent side. But I never had a single mental breakdown because of this wonderful center. Thank you endlessly, MN ATL!

Received excellent care. Lots of residential treatments feel sterile and even impersonal. Monte Nido Atlanta felt more homelike and maintained my dignity. I felt like a normal human instead of just an eating disorder. The team treating me was wonderful and supportive - they know EDs and how to help those of us with them. I recommend Monte Nido Atlanta and am grateful for my time there.

I love Monte Nido, but this location is not it. The clinical director thinks she is always right and is really stubborn about it. The team did not think palpitations, lightheadedness at rest, and a resting heart rate of 125 while laying down was an emergency. When I took myself to the ER anyways and received fluids, I was reprimanded the next day and told I didn't need fluids, I just needed to drink more water and stop questioning the nursing staff. My Monte Nido PHP team and my outpatient doctor have agreed that I was right... read more

this place helped me so much, and also was super hard in not-so-gr8 ways! a lot of the staff, mostly the rc’s were super nice and fun and you could tell that a few of them enjoyed their jobs. the food was good (except for that one breakfast EVERY wed morning, i will forever be a hater of that meal), cooking class was interesting i guess, and our outings every sunday were always super fun (u could go if u completed for 24-48 hourz). we did fun things like paint birdhouses, take care of a fish who may or may not still be alive... read more
