Omelette, cheddar very good, cooked perfectly and lots of cheddar. Home fries cooked “good” not overcooked not undercooked, perfect. Thick rye toast and really good coffee. Staff was down to earth, kind, nice people. Sister had the pancakes, good, nicely cooked, not dry. $20 for 2 people, good prices (overtipped our server, she was so very attentive) and we always take care of our servers
The last time I was here, I was served an egg sandwich to go that had an partially cooked drippy egg in it and raw bacon. I had to throw it out and spit it out. March 8, 2022. The sandwich was a gooey, stringy mess. Today the chef couldn't understand what I meant by a Western Omelette sandwich on a roll. Most of the dishes are in the $15 to $30 range, which is a lot for a diner. This sandwich was $8. I walked out without ordering it.
