My wife and I love Asian food, so we tried Montauk Bistro. I had a curry dish and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered Pho and it was so disagreeable, that she left most of it in the bowl and didn't ask for a to-go container. We are both pho lovers and have had pho at more than a dozen restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley. Occasionally my wife has said that a restaurant's pho was just slightly off, didn't have enough "depth," or had too much or too little salt. This pho was in a class by itself. BAD. The pho broth was awful….inedible in fact.
We’ve been to this cute bungalow-turned-bistro twice now, and will be back again. Great curries, tofu lettuce wraps, and my husband loved their burger. I believe it’s run by a couple, one cooking, and one taking care of the diners, and both are friendly, and do a great job.
The food here is absolutely amazing! My wife and I are regulars here! We love when people come into town, just so we can bring them here. We have yet to be disappointed with anything we’ve ordered! The service and ambiance are also great here! Plus it’s always great to support local!
The owner/chef is a wonderful lady. She’s very friendly and quite talented in the kitchen. She makes cooking look effortless and easy. Every time we go there she always makes time for us and our meals are delightful ❤️🙌
