I arrived at Montana Hill Guest Ranch excited to volunteer for a month and was genuinely looking forward to the experience. From the moment we arrived at the scenic ranch, and were welcomed by our hosts, we were in relaxation mode. We settled into the super cozy cabin and experienced the most delicious chicken supper that was delivered to our cabin. I recently had the absolute pleasure to stay here for a solo birthday trip to disconnect from busy city life and reconnect with nature. This place is absolutely breathtaking from the views, to the animals, to the people who run it. The most stunning part is the night and the amount of stars you can see. The cabins are rustic with a hot tub, bbq, kitchenette and Western decor. There's trails you can hike, ax throwing, and feed the animals. I miss Rusty the horse already. Really, it’s 5/5 stars for the accommodation, but 2/5 for not communicating the change in plans in advance, so the rating I gave here is an average of these 2 things together. We were a group of 4 traveling from VI for a weeklong road trip. We needed to break the trip up for our friend who has accessibility needs.
