After about 20 years of being with them I get my privileges taken away. When I’ve done nothing wrong. Just one day I get a call saying they are terminating my privilege to do “such and such”... I’d rather not say what it is. Yes. I’m going to be switching Credit Unions.
So MFCU decides we need chipped cards. They decided this end of last year sometime and then delayed the process, can't remember why. Anyway, this go round they just shut the cards off with no warning,. By the end of Thursday our cards were shut off. Why? Because we are getting new ones with the chip. Hey neat! Buuuut don't Ya think notifying us and making sure the new ones are in hand and activated BEFORE shutting the old ones off makes more sense? May be time to find a new credit union. I, a nonmember, went today to pick up a check arranged by a member. The three people sitting at the front desk were so incredibly rude and kept telling me they would not help me. I got the member on the phone and the representative was rude to the member as well. They finally looked in the drawer and lo and behold, there's a check written to me. Guess I can cross this off my list of potential new financial institutions.
Becky worked with me on setting up a car loan, and she was awesome! I don’t live in town, but she made the process super easy over the phone. And their rates were way competitive compared to other local banks.

question, why are they no longer Montana Federal Credit Union?
Been banking here for over 16 years, my husband, much longer. Incredibly rude teller in the drive up. I've never had bad service before, I've never had a teller be anything but accomodating and pleasant. I'm hoping this isn't your new trend or I'll be taking my business elsewhere. And thanks for flagging my account, doubt I'll be thru this drive up again.
