About this business

At the Montana Project we hold self evident that to be alive is to be artistic, it is who we all are; everyone can be creative, and creating art with others is fun! We have designed our paint and sip projects to be contemporary, to be ‘loose’ and ‘tight’; loose so you can be creative, flick paint about and try new things, and then ‘tighten’ up the image with tools like stencils to make it a bomb-proof item you will be happy to hang on your walls. Fun with friends, date nights, work social ... read more

I booked a class/event to paint Frida Khalo about a month ago. I received a call from the organizer telling me the class had to be cancelled. So, she offered to call me back and book me in in the next Frida event. So, she did this, was booked in again fir Sat 27th of May but i went to the venue in Montague Road and there was no Event. Called and left several messages with organizer to have a Refund bubut had no answer. Call went to voicemail.

The actual paint class is great, but the guy who runs it was rude to some people for simply wanting to sign their name when they finished their art work. There is a nice way to speak to people.

Birthday celebrations + double date night are banked in the memories under AWESOME, thanks to Shaun and the Montana Art Project (special mention to our fellow attendees on 16.01.21, great bunch, good vibes!!🤣👏) Highly rate this Sip'n'Paint experience. Such a cool studio space, excellent presenter and fantastic piece of art (and BYO buzz lol) to take home!

I bought this experience as a birthday gift for my one of my best friends and I. I’ve done a few paint and sip experiences in Brisbane and this one was by far the best. The music, the atmosphere and the energy Shaun brings is second to none. There’s so much creative freedom with the paintings allowing you to express yourself! I tend to be a perfectionist at the best of times, so being allowed to add my own creative flare to a painting (as opposed to following a picture strictly) was just brilliant. Shaun guides you the whole... read more
