do not waste your time coming here. just take birth control and save yourself a trip, its their only solution for anything.
Dr. Iyer is the worst provider I have ever had. He placed my first IUD, upon which I passed out, and woke up to him rubbing my leg and telling me what a good job I did. A few months later I was in terrible pain, and was completely dismissed, only to later find out my IUD had been out of place for months. He also removed my second IUD. The string was in my uterus, and they had to pry open my cervix with no pain medication. Despite my screaming and panicking, no one stopped. Be warned they rush you through appointments, don't care to explain anything to you. Nurses were lovely...but that's about the only thing going for them.
Completely disrespected and rushed. I came in with concerns about PMDD and endometriosis and Dr Iyer tells me that "endometriosis won't affect your mood". He clearly doesn't know what he's talking about since obviously the pain and hormonal fluctuations linked to endo would make you emotional. He rushed the appointment and stopped listening to me the moment I brought up emotions. I would not trust this doctor at all and he clearly doesn't care about his patients.
The woman who answered the phone for appointments was extremely rude. When I called regarding a VA referral to which I was given the name of the person working on, she said, "I don't know who you think you're calling, but there's no one here by that name." If you're being referred here by the VA, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are many reasons (in the comments) why this location has poor ratings.
