I am absolutely disgusted with monster Mortgage. my husband and I dealt with Surendra Wankhede. He gave us our pre-approval at 450-460k but when we went to move forward with the lender, all of a sudden the numbers didn’t add up and we were declined and asked to put down 20% which came it about $84k for a down deposit. When we found out how sketchy this became, we spoke to our realtor and decided to move forward with another lender as Monster wasn’t budging. Buyer beware: these guys position themselves as brokers trying to get you the best deal but also push their non-arms length lending agency as your best option ... hmmm
