Charged me $800. Plating did not last one time. Couple copper untensils were not even plated but Ken charged me for it. Not trustworthy
They need to work hard on there customer service, terrible communication not to call it disrespectful.
Monsen has been around since 1901. Gary took over in 1964. He has a true love for this beautiful craft, and he enjoys showing his large workshop. I can see why! He has some amazing pieces to work on...what an amazing job he has to bring back life to pieces that carry such history! I brought in two vintage silver plated teapots for cleaning and replating. Gary suggested that I use steel wool (SOS pad) to clean the interior of one, which I did and it came out perfect. He also leveled one of the legs for stability at no charge.... read more

Gary has restored to their original glory so many of my "treasures" over the past 15+yrs that I have lost count. Nothing phases him, everything is possible. A magnificent and skilled craftsman from the old school.
