My current nurse bedside manor could be a lot better. Real short and nasty attitude. I feel a bit discriminated against and I am here alone. Sucky feeling to want to sneak out but you need surgery.

I had to take my son to the ER, and we were greeted with kindness and compassion from the moment we arrived. We were seen within minutes by a nurse and then promptly by a doctor. Several lab tests were performed, and my son received the utmost care while we waited for the results. He was diagnosed with Influenza A and was given antiviral and anti-nausea medications to help manage his symptoms before being discharged. This was the first time I went to Monroe hospital. I felt very comfortable as soon as they helped me in the wheelchair. All staff were very kind and thoughtful and explained everything they were doing every moment. Truth be told: Monroe experience was 1,000,000 times better than IU health could ever be. I was seen for pain and UTI symptoms within 20 minutes of arrival. The staff were cordial and kind. I got my test results back and was home with antibiotics within 2 hours.
