This place needs Alot of tightening up. Better leadership, improved oversight from the Board, and increased training for staff. I understand this agencys purpose is to investigate deaths and not family advocacy, however this is a publicly funded agency that is bound by rules, laws, family rights, and processes. This place steals people's belongings and then uses bureaucracy to never return them. Give the woman's family her belongings back. Don't make a hard time for a family even harder. Gross negligence
My father passed 1/20/2024 and they still have his belongings. They said they would send a letter in the mail yet it’s 2/24/2024. They didn’t even send us a cause of death! Now I see why their rating is so low. They are “professional” yet so UNPROFESSIONAL and DISRESPECTFUL! RIP daddy. May you receive JUSTICE!!!!!
