Absolutely shameful. I've had bad experiences at other MONRO locations but this is a new low and the last time I'll ever visit one of their locations. Here is a timeline of events for my visit to this particular location: Day 1 at ~10:30am: I drop my car off for its appointment, which was scheduled online for a 9a-11a dropoff window. I notified the attendant that the previous year's inspection at the Penfield MONRO center had noted rear brake pads were barely a pass. I also asked for inspection of the front brake pads. I scheduled an appointment for a break service and state inspection on 7/02, instead I had the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any customer service / auto mechanic job. I waited for 5 days to pick up my car with no inspection completed but was still charged for it. They kept ordering the wrong parts but also telling me to come in and that it’s ready. Made an appointment for an oil change..i arrived 10 mins early to be told theres nobody to do it. This place ran so much better when the older black guy was the manager...this new manager is very condescending and rude. Im done with this specific location.
I had a fantastic experience here. These guys helped me quickly, knowledgeably and professionally. Most of all, they were extremely kind to me and made me feel like they genuinely cared - if that’s not customer service, I don’t know what is! They worked very hard to get my car back on the road, and it’s running beautifully now. I really appreciated how they worked as a team, how they treated me and my ride - I feel quite lucky that they were the garage I happened to go to.
No one is here an hour past opening time despite multiple people having appointments.
