Called ahead to make sure they had availability for a flat tire today, they said to come in and they should be able to fit me in today. Got there and doors were locked 30 mins after they’re supposed to open. Calling ahead means nothing if the person making the appointments doesn’t even work at the location. Anyways go to Modern Tire in Cheshire, CT instead. I called ahead and they were actually open. 🤦🏻♀
Place is a scam, took my 2016 Range Rover there for a possible nail in the right rear tire. Was told there was a nail and also there was a Knick in the right front sidewall which needed to be replaced and I agreed with. I have Michelin cross contact tires on my car. I left a tip that day for them because there was no charge for the original service of taking the tire off and looking at it. I really wish i didn’t have to do this but feel that it will only benefit the customer. Had an appointment scheduled at the Cheshire Monro this AM at 7:30. I got there around 7:20, solely to make sure I wasn’t late and just because I like to arrive to all appointments early. I found it odd that the store still had its lights off and no one was there. 7:30 rolled around and no one had still shown up, weird. 7:40 rolled around, still nothing.
