Call center for Monroe is failing the service staff and customer by not providing proper information and communication at the time of appointment set up

Called to get state inspection and emissions done. Was quoted a price of $74.50 as long as nothing was needed, it needed a light bulb (of course) final bill $ 98.98 and it took an hour and a half....i was waiting. Also recommended back brake pads which would have been an additional $240.00....no thank you!!! I will not visit Monro again. Wish i would have read some of the other reviews first, i would have waited for my regular garage to do the inspection and emissions at half the cost
Zach and Chuck were great! Informative, appropriate, considerate, timely and professional. No pressure, they simply explained the issue at hand, sensibly. They fixed what (the professional parts changers at) Firestone in Altoona would not! I hope Monro is paying these guys what they deserve. This is what GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE looks like!
