I had an appointment and no one was at the counter when I arrived. There wasn't a person to be seen in the office or the service bay. Someone finally came from the service bay area, fully 5 minutes after I arrived. He pulled up my info by my phone number and then asked me for it twice more because of "computer issues." He asked what kind of oil I wanted and I told him, after which he tried to tell me my car would only take the full synthetic, which is more expensive, and not a blend. I would give this zero stars if I could. Prices quoted for replacing brakes were much higher than other shops, and a routine oil change was done incorrectly, leading to oil spraying throughout my engine. This was only noticed when I went to a different shop for more reasonably priced brake replacement, and required hundreds of dollars in repairs. Do NOT trust this place, it is not worth the risk.

GIVE LILLIAN A RAISE! She is the reason I keep coming back to Monro on Skiff street. I drive my car a lot for work and I trust her emphatically. I know she will make sure everything is done the right way and will give the best customer service. She knows what she's doing, is extremely knowledgeable and is truly a joy. I thank the team at Monroe Hamden, CT for their professional support with the replacement of the front wheel bearings, rotors and pads on the GMC Sierra. While traveling Boston to Philadelphia wheel bearing failed. Called Monroe Hamden CT 5 PM Friday evening, got the vehicle into the shop for evaluation Friday evening and it was repaired and I was back on the road early afternoon the next day.
