I don't know what people are talking about on here but they are under new management and they were extra helpful with me. They even diagnosed my service engine light for free and told me exactly what it was free of charge.

Stereotypical Scammer Mechanics – These guys are your stereotypical scammer mechanics. I took my vehicles here for oil changes in the past. I live in an apartment complex, otherwise I'd change my own oil. I guess they assume that since I use a mechanic, I don't know anything about cars. Every time I took my car for an oil change they offered a free tire rotation (how generous). This gave them an excuse to "examine" my brakes. terrible place. they take advantage of you. I went this weekend and they said I need to change my tires and since i have no experience I asked how long they would last me and one of their guys told me a week. yeah right...then i called my father, he came and checked and they were good atleast for a year. after all, I had my oil changed which was the reason why i went to this place and they ended up charging me $60 dollars for it after they told me it was going to be $40. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
BEWARE!!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!! – I went here for an inspection and they tried to railroad me into buying wipers & tires. I had brand new wipers on the car that i installed days before this! I also needed a muffler so they quoted me a price of $280 which includes labor & parts..just to replace the muffler...no other exhaust part.! I left this place and went to my local Super Deal Tire & Muffler in Wake Forest...he installed a new muffler for $77...he also then did the inspection. too long / nothing wrong with my car – I have had my oil changed here several times and each time they have put on the "report card" for my vehcile that there is something wrong that is not. Sometimes I have just had the item attended to that they say is broken! do not trust mechanics in general, but this place will try to get every penny out of you!
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE – I took my vehicle in for an oil change and a state inspection on a Saturday at noon-thirty knowning that it would be a while before they would get to it. They said, "two hours." Fine, not a big deal as I had my friend follow me in my other car to give me a ride. At about ten minutes before four, that's three hours, I get a call stating that I needed new wiper blades. Great service – I liked that i was was treated with respect and cursity while i was there. I feel it was done in a quick fashion it would have taken alot longer at the dealer.
Rude Manager, charge extra for oil filter which is normally not – On 5/28/07. I took my car in for an oil changed at Monro Muffler Brake at 8811 Brier Creek Parkway, Raleigh, NC 27617. 919-806-3493 this is the 3rd times that I took the car in for oil change. But this time I was charged with a $29 oil changed bill. Previously, I paid $21. What the manager Mike A Haller told me was that since the filter is not in stock.
