This is a real review by a real human and no I will not take this down no matter what so dont ask. Do better Monro! Six years ago I left a review because this was the one and only shop we used for general repairs and inspections for multiple vehicles. Since then it has taken a nosedive to the very bottom of my list, and it should be at the bottom of your list as well. Really poor service. I went to drop the car off for state inspection with only a tire pressure light. I leave with the cars check engine light on, LDA light flashing, pre-collision light flashing, engine reduce power light flashing and more. The workers did not want to except responsibility and argued with me stating that I came in for a check engine light and water pump. That was in fact a lie. There is more, but really poor service and untrustworthy location.
I brought my vehicle to Monro for a tune-up, splash guard repair, and other maintenance. During the inspection, the team identified additional issues that they recommended repairing. I agreed to all of the work, ultimately spending $3,165. The experience quickly became frustrating. After I was told my vehicle would be ready, I Ubered back to the shop to pick it up. Fast, professional, and wonderful service—I definitely recommend it!!!
I brought my 2018 Honda HR-V to Monro for an inspection of brakes, rotors, and a possible tie rod issue. After inspection, I was advised that shocks and tires were also needed. While trying to manage the logistics and financial implications of the repairs during a busy workday, I asked the shop to pause work so I could better understand my options.
