I got ripped off and they almost burnt my car engine. On Feb 7th, I stopped at Monro Auto Service in Binghampton as my Subaru was leaking oil underneath and smoking somewhat. They said I needed a new oil pan and gaskets. They kept the car over night as they did not have the parts. I noticed that when they delivered the car next day, it was still smoking but they said it was the oil residue from the day before that was burning off. I asked - are you sure? I went to monro muffler in Oneonta ny cause my car would jerk when I accelerated so I explained the problem and they discovered my transmission fluid was leaking out of the axle shaft. They said the only way to fix it was to replace the transmission for 2000 dollars I was in shoke my car only has 74000 miles on it in disbelief I decided to take my car to get a second opinion apparently the guy at the new mechanic said all I needed was an axle shaft seal which cost 200 he said the tramission itself looked fine. monro muffler... read more
Ryan and staff went above and beyond to trouble shout my car. They were very honest and very professional, as a woman going to a new garage I walked away very please with my car being serviced there.They are definitely a 10 Star garage!!
