Jay the owner was difficult to talk with. He was condescending and defensive . Basic questions about his business or what type of material he would suggest to use in a bathroom renovation appeared aggravating in his eyes . Red flags went up in my mind within a few minutes of starting a conversation. Quickly realized he is not the right person for the job !!! He responded to a post I did on Next Door . Home Owner Beware !!!
Top floor renovation and adding an additional bathroom on a 115 year old house in Old Town. Good work, reasonable priced. They kept to the schedule and the daily work area clean up was a welcome touch. Highly recommend Jay and his team at Monova Homes.
We decided a couple of months ago to remodel our kitchen. We called the same contractor we used 2 years ago for our bathroom project. Monova Homes is an excellent remodeling business. Jay is the owner. He hires excellent workers who listen to what you want and then make it happen. I am very picky but they addressed every detail and gave me completely what I wanted. Can't say enough positives about Manova Homes. Jay is unbelievable - phone him, he answers; text him, he answers; e-mail him, he answers all within a matter of minutes. He checks on his team every day of the project making sure all is well. The teams (workers who come to the house) are great. Always on time and show up every day until the project is finished.
