Impressive rock formation rising right above Bear Gulch Reservoir! A favorite spot for climbers and photographers. You can see it up close from the reservoir trail — it looks especially striking in the late afternoon light. Peaceful area, not too crowded when we visited, and a great place to pause and take in the dramatic scenery.
Great hike with a beautiful view and a loop so you don't have to go back the way you came.
