Great hike with a beautiful view and a loop so you don't have to go back the way you came.
Great refreshing hike
This is a great place to explore caves with kids, it's very interesting. If you are unlucky, you may have to walk a long trail to the caves because the 1st parking lot is far away. Remember to bring a headlamp or flashlight, some of the rock crevices are very narrow and low, be careful of hitting your head, shoulders, back and knees against rocks, and be careful of slipping on the gravel on the slope. There are not many features of this national park, except for the caves.
I had an amazing hiking experience at The Monolith during our Bear Gulch Reservoir trail adventure! This hidden gem is nestled near the end of Bear Gulch, accessible via Moses Spring or Rim Trail. The proximity to the reservoir dam and Bear Gulch Caves adds to the excitement. Besides The Monolith, there are other impressive monoliths and colonnades amidst massive walls and lonely pillars.
