Dusty prepared a tasting menu/chef's counter experience for me and my husband on our ski trip to Big Sky. From the initial email to the final clean up after our dinner, he was extremely prompt and professional. The menu was beyond inventive and we were blown away with how truly "farm-to-table" and "from scratch" the experience was. We would definitely recommend Monoculture Commissary for a special experience in Bozeman/Big Sky area.
My much anticipated Montana sourced five course meal by Chef Dusty far exceeded my expectations. His passion and respect for the land he lives on is artfully and deliciously displayed in every dish. If you are looking for thoughtfully curated food and a unique experience then Monoculture Commissary is the right place! I’ve had the pleasure of dining in both a private setting and in a group farm dinner. Each meal was perfectly thought out, prepared, and introduced. I love being exposed to new foods and flavors when eating Chef Dusty’s creations. If you have the chance to try his food in any setting, don’t hesitate!
My husband and I attended the Black Dog Farm, dinner event in Livingston MT on September 9th, 2023. Dusty Burnett and his crew served an inspiring 5 course meal to 30 people outdoors. The food was unique, perfectly prepared, and delicious . Fresh from the local area with ingredients well pared and artistically presented. A taste of heaven.
