I had a an emergency in 2019 and my optometrist sent me to Monmouth Retina. Dr. Patel told me I had a detached retina and a retinal tear and needed immediate treatment. He understood I was nervous and he took time to explain my options and he answered every question I had. The procedure to repair the detachment was a success and he was able to fix the tear. In fact, he came in on a Sunday to do laser treatment for the tear. I have been a patient ever since. I would not go anywhere else.
After several bad experiences with NJ Retina, I switched to Dr. Trikha at Monmouth Retina about 3 years ago. I am SO glad that I did! The office staff is so nice and Dr. Trikha is wonderful. He is very thorough and takes the time to explain everything to you and very willing to answer any questions you may have.
