Do make the drive here, it’s well worth it. You are going to be amazed with what the real food is worth outside of main DMV hub.
As a Texan this place is actually great. Best BBQ ive found in VA. The meat is juicy, crisp and tender. Their sauces are really nice and tangy. They have delicious pickles and different options to choose from. They have clean restooms, super sweet staff and a nice big bar. Their mac and cheese could use more cheese (in my opinion) but otherwise absolutely fabulous.
Pastrami was great. I had it with collard greens and it was nice. The cornbread was interesting. I liked it. Pulled pork and Mac and cheese as great too.
I ordered the wings and the skin was rubbery. Hubs ordered brisket and he enjoyed very much
