These guys suck. I took them my f150 because it wouldn't start. They told me it was the timing and I should retire the truck. I was devastated, This was my only vehicle. So I had it towed home. I was online doing some reading and I found a blog where someone told me the fuel pressure regulators sometimes get vapor lock and wont start. I go out and tap on the regulator with a screwdriver and it fired right up. I didnt even have to change the part. These guy suck at diagnosing problems. RecommendedVery honest about what work needs done and fair with pricing. A dealership gave me an estimate of $5,000 worth of work they said “needed done”. Took it to monkey wrench for a second opinion and they saved me thousands. Staff is friendly!
This garage is awesome! My car wouldn't start in the middle of the day and we finally got it towed to the garage that night after hours. The next day around lunch time we got a call that my car was all done! Quick and kind service with very fair prices.
My brother and I take our cars here for anything that needs done from oil changes, brakes, radiator, hoses, fuel problems, struts, etc. Bill and John are great and prices are great.
Took my granddaughters car in, owner Bill Hoffman was able to get on it right away, did great job, got her back on the road. Bill was very professional and polite. I would recommend Monkey Wrench Garage as an excellent automobile repair garage. Thank-you Mr. Bill. We will be back.
I had a radiator blow out on my truck was stranded on I-70 with my 28' trailer. Owner Bill said he'd be able to get me right in. Was able to limp everything to Monkey Wrench Garage. They replaced the radiator and had me going again in about 3 hrs. For this - stranded out-of-town customer, emergency repairs, fitting me in - I fully expected to be gouged. I wasn't. When I saw the bill, I was shocked. It was reasonable! Honest shop and if I lived there, I'd only take my cars there.
Thank you so much for getting our car back up and running and for being so kind through the process! I appreciate your honesty and for the extra attention you gave to my car! We will definitely be back and recommend this garage to anyone looking for a quality mechanic with integrity!!!
