I would recommend no one to go here. Over a year ago I took my car in after I noticed the a/c was not blowing cold. They said it need new hoses and seals for $300. I then picked up the car and immediately had to go to Florida as my father passed and his funeral was in a couple days. It was blowing cold so thought all was good. Wasn't til we took the first gas break we noticed it wasn't blowing cold, but at that point we were several 100 miles into the trip. So we just kept going. Beware of Monkey Mike's Mechanic Shop! I can’t stress enough how awful my experience was with Monkey Mike's. Please let my story serve as a warning—especially for single parents and young Tech students! Against my better judgment with The stolen BUSINESS name of a good mechanic should’ve told it all , I recommended my daughter take her Toyota to this shop. I can’t urge others to avoid this place enough. I’m out $1,000 because of them. To make a long story short, they charged me $700 for a power steering pump, which turned out faulty after two weeks. I took it back because it had a warranty. I lived off of Ubers for 3 weeks while they lied about how long it would take to get the second replacement. I had a really stressful experience with my Chrysler 200 last month. It was having a common electrical issue that ultimately led to needing a full transmission replacement. Before coming here, I went to a couple of other shops to see if it might be something less serious, but it was confirmed to be a transmission problem.
