We are off to Paris in a month for our last research trip before moving to Paris. Have various appointments with lawyers and government people regarding starting up Monique's in Paris and should be able to see a few locations available. A key part of the visit will be a further refinement of desired location - 10th near the canals, the 8th, 7th?, maybe the 16th, or even Ile de la Cite. Each location has pros and cons, a tough job but somebody has to do it!
Monique and I made a lot of truffles for our 4th of July Block Party, and we have extra. So tonight - Sat 5 July - from 5pm until 9pm - I will be at the shop giving away the truffles (10 per person) and I will be able to make drinking chocolate as well - until supplies run out. There are no chairs, tables, and little else but the truffles - however, it will be a fun way to spend the next to last lease day at 539 Bryant. See you there!
