I have seen Dr. Alford, aka Dr. Jones about 23 years ago. Technically 24. Does she still have an office ? I don't see business hour. She was amazing and I would highly recommend her. I have also worked with her as a colleague at Advocate South Suburban. She truly cares for her patients. Please tell me there are any new patient openings as well. I was a new patient of Dr. Jones. I am also in my 20s which means I look to my doctor for a lot of guidance for my health plan. I explained my health situation to Dr. Jones and my concerns on being on high levels of estrogen. She told me that there was nothing to be concerned about and that the birth control at that dosage was helpful because it regulated my hormones. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Jones to anyone, her lack of empathy, care for patients mental health, and habit of speaking without knowledge of patient history. I have never personally heard surch horrific bedside manner from a physician. Once a physician loses that emotional connection and empathy for their patients, it's time to retire. Patients are people with lives and mental heath. For a doctor, this is their job but their words can effect their patient far more than they realize. She's great! I was a new patient and she explained everything really well she was warm welcoming and made me feel at home. She answered everything I wanted to know and took the time to talk and I was not rushed.
