Been going to see Monica for quite some time now. Going in for a follow up routine smear test. Never ever get in on the appointment time, waiting over half an hour, no apologies for keeping me waiting. After the procedure, just wanted to get out of there as I always feel uncomfortable and vulnerable. Terrible experience... Waited over 9 months to get an appointment, I have had 9 previous surgeries for endometriosis all stage 4. Monique was extremely dismissive and after listening and looking at all my history told me that it was my bowel/stomach not endometriosis. I had already seen a gastroenterologist who performed additional tests to confirm that it is not my bowel/stomach causing my problems. Nor do I have IBS crones or food allergies. Referred to this gyno by my GP - never got to meet her as the receptionist Simone advised I was wasting their time without private health insurance. I advised I was happy to pay for the consult to get the details and was shut down and told surgery is my only option and this is 10-15k. Didn't realise receptionists also had medical degrees and my financial details. Dr Juneja diagnosed me with Endometriosis after 17 years of going back and forth with other dr’s and specialists without any help. I appreciate her straight to the point no fuss manner and the fact she is takes care of the surgery for the diagnosis and endo removal not just the consult.
Very dismissive, ultimately saying "just wait and see what happens", rather than diagnosing cause.
