My husband used Moneylink Mortgage to buy a house before we met. The closing date moved up from the original closing date but no one updated the homeowner's insurance policy. 2 days later the dishwasher line broke and flooded the whole house. Everyone blamed the other person in the process and my husband ended up having to pay over $50k out of pocket bc the insurance wasn't in place.
