My partner and I are black and when we went in there we were profiled. They asked all these questions and were setting them up as if they thought he had an illegal check. His place of income was clearly stated in the check and his references were valid. I’m not sure the man’s name, but when we came in he blankly stared at my partner and was not assisting him.
