I don't understand why check cashing places take one look at a person and assume the check is fraudulent. I brought in a check from progressive for a refund on my policy. A company that can verify checks should have no problem. I don't think the problem was the check. It was the color of my skin. Disappointed and very unprofessional. Don't waste your time if you've never been there. Tried to cash a check and was told they had to verify it but wouldn't even call to verify it because the manager wasn't there. Why are they open if they won't cash a check? Just plain asinine
