Bad customer experience: They told me there was no 3-year contract just to trap me into signing up for the service. They charged me $35 a month for the POS terminal, plus a percentage on every transaction. I wanted to cancel the service because I don't have many customers asking to pay via terminal. Suddenly, a $245 hidden fee appeared out of nowhere, disguised as a fee to clean and reset the machine. I could easily do this myself if they hadn't locked the terminal. I can't even give them one star. Please do yourselves good and do not deal with them. They never sent us bills for their charges, they kept on increasing the fees without notifications and I asked for cancellation they said that my account will imediatly be charged for $430 + taxes. They suddenly increased their fees to $120.33 per month while TD bank is only $39 per month Be aware that they are the worst company to deal with.
So bad.. I can not even check the daily report by app or phone by easy access. Long wait for talking to a phone agent. They should adopt new tech like clover
I had a website that had been hacked years ago so there were no online transactions processed by Moneris. Today I find out that since I never notified them of a cancellation they have billed my business account $56.00 / month since 2019 totalling over $4000.00 . Since I never called to cancel no charges can be refunded even though they never processed any transactions. I would highly recommend for anyone considering this company to STAY AWAY!!!
Too bad this new Moneris POS WIX solution is literally a POS. After Moneris selling us on a platform that was already obsolete (we only had it for a year before being told it was being terminated) and charging me for all the equipment (Payd Pro Plus) that is now no use to me because this new POS is not compatible with any of my old equipment.
