I don’t know why these people are rating the doctor by the clinic. Dr Moneim is a wonderful hand specialist. He helped me avoid a fusion on my hand. He listens to his patients. Thought I still have to favor my hand, I can wear a brace at night and it helps my pain without invasive surgery. I highly recommend. Yes the clinic is less than perfect. They never called me about my referral. You sometimes have to wait until ridiculous amounts of time but Dr Moneim is one of the best doctors I have ever seen.
Not a go to UNMH anything, staff is inpatient, forgetful.
Everyone from the front desk, to Steph, veronica,Aaron, Dr. Anderson and Dr. Moneim was great. They listen, spend time with you and don't lie and rush you out like N.M Orthopedics.
UNM Ortho repeatedly told me I would get a call from someone to schedule an appointment for my neck and back. I asked about this appointment 4 times at least while I was there for other appointments and was told that someone would call. Always "within 48 hours". I have yet to receive a call. My other experiences at the clinic have been pleasant but my spine is the most important element of my injuries so Im upset that I will possibly have to bounce around to different providers.
