The Monashee is clean and although it is an older hotel it has some high end amenities and accomodating service. Large plush towels, Nespresso coffee, very comfortable tempurpedic mattress, large flat screen. Did I say clean.

We were promised a two queen bed room, and did not receive that as they do not have rooms with two queens. Plus there was mould and filth in the sliding door track. When we asked for a refund as we needed to have the two queens to accommodate our young children as well, the owner tried to get us a different room (which also didn't have two queens) then offered us two rooms (which doesn't suit our family's needs as we have children with autism). Beware, advertising $198 per night, ends up with fees $280, next time I will book a more modern place for that price.

Owner is very nice person. He helped us alot. Rooms are clean and mountain view from the windows. Tiny park jn the backyard .My kids love to play there. Close to Esso gasoline.30 minutes walking distance from the beach. All the staff members are very nice and helpful. Highly recommend .
