So I had my yearly appointment at this centre and was shocked that I was forced to pay $15 parking for less than one hour. IMed say it’s not their fault as they don’t own the carpark at the back but they DO have a responsibility to provide affordable parking for patients. The response from Imed management is that there’s street parking- WRONG- because of the proximity of the hospital there is almost NO suitable street parking.

I hadn’t visited this clinic for a long time. As I was about to park today, a staff member immediately came over and told me I had to pay a $15 parking fee. There was no greeting, no explanation, and no information provided beforehand — the first thing I heard was simply, “Parking is $15.” Honestly, I was shocked by how expensive it was. Absolutely disgusted that you now charge your visitors / patients to the specialist centre for parking in the rear car park. $15 an hour for patients and not like there are other options to park in side streets and only a few options out the front and not even an option to drop off anyone. Clearly profits before people’s wellbeing. Most people are paying enough for their specialist appointment or radiology and to top it off are slugged more to park there. I. Have had several visits to this centre and been treated with kindness and consideration on every visit and would recommend it to anyone.
