I was told by Prof Dominic Thyagarajan, well you have Parkinsons and it will only get worse, (whilst he was smiling) He gave me a medication change and sent me away with a follow up appointment 7 months later. Well Prof, the medication didn't work, so really really did you expect me to wait 7 months. I also noticed that when he was checking my records, he was accessing old information Not happy !!!!

I think he's a competent n smart doctor. He's got a good bedside manner. He's actually quite compassionate. Perhaps it totally slipped his mind n didn't turn up for the appointment. I once completely forgot to attend my close friend's daughter's wedding. No I was never forgiven. I would say the Prof is completely worthy of his title Prof.

Prof Dominic Thyagarajan is a nice man, he listened however given that we wanted to have a tele health appointment to discuss concerns the information fell on deaf ears, aside from being a nice man he shrugs his shoulders and we are still at a loss as to who is taking over looking after medication dosages and who is looking at any further testing. The public health system is failing hence not getting very far with this appointment as it was a waist of time. Not sure that he is suited to Dystonia cases.

Spent 1.5 hours in Professor Thyagarajan’s waiting room for him not to show up to his scheduled appointments and did not have the common courtesy to even let his staff know that he was running late or had been held up. 24 hours later we still have not heard from him and we are disgusted by his lack of professionalism. He has lost us as a patient and I do not recommend him to anybody. His time is not more important than his patients time.
