Stana I was on waiting list 2022 for up to 1 year about my very bad back condition. I received message from them today ( 5/5/2025) to fill up form about my waiting list. I had surgery on 15 of November 2022 at Auston hospital, because my back was in very bad condition. If l was waiting for Monash neurosurgery, l wouldn't be able to walk a long time ago. I wouldn't eve recommend Monash neurosurgery to anyone, unfortunately.
Regrettably, I must concur with other reviews. This has been the worst department I have encountered at Monash Hospital. I believe the doctor may not have taken an accurate history and appeared more interested in fitting me into a predefined category. It felt like he was not invested in finding a genuine diagnosis but was rather focused on a checkbox approach.
