Lung review below sleep study: I have since had a sleep study, and nearly lowered my score to a 4. Expectations need to be managed better: Please notify patients: - glue will be in hair until washed out. Hospital doesn’t provide any toiletries. So BYO - Nurse filled out morning sheet, so not able to give feedback - Runny nose that I couldn’t blow overnight, I hope it doesn’t skew test. 5 stars for lung, 31/2 stars for sleep clinic. Lung; awesome, helpful, caring, empathetic, listened and followed up. Sleep study: The staff were great, felt comfortable, but expectations could have been managed better. Although there is a shower available, there is no shampoo, conditioner or body wash to get the ‘glue’ off. Even if they don’t want to offer for free, either notify patients before they come in or sell a shower pack? I first saw the respiratory doctors at Jesse Mac, with seamless follow up appointments at the Monash Lung & Sleep. The front desk and technicians were excellent. Specialist great, explained everything, allowed me to ask questions and was able to put my mind at ease with other symptoms that I had. For a specialist excellent bed manner. Felt positive on leaving that I could get to the bottom of my health issues.
What a mess and disappointment in terms of admin and organisation. No response from Marie on time, mismanagement and wrong allocation of locations, times etc. Highly screwed up appointment management and rude staff on phone. She didn't update my phone, no replies and just booking appointments randomly with no sequencing of tests etc.
