My friend had a horrible fall and hit her head terribly. She had to wait in the waiting room for 3 hrs until she was attended to, she was never given any food after she asked for food. She was never given a concussion test when she arrived to the hospital. She was not prioritised even though there was extreme bleeding from the back of head. It was shocking, unprofessional and gives terrible fair in the public health system. The nurses were rude and not helpful at all.

Extremely long wait times. Low effort and zero empathy from nursing staff. Terrible and uncomfortable facilities that look and feel more like a prison. The security guards were actually great - helpful and kind. Victorians deserve better.

I went to the Monash emergency department for my grandpa and aunt, you could could possibly DIE in waiting while waiting for bed. 8 to 9 hours waiting at emergency is not acceptable whereas some of the staff are just chatting and on phone. We came here for emergency services not to waiting and sitting. I advised Monash to spend more money on the healthcare and emergency services than building extra car parks and get more people who are qualified for the position.
