I recently had a tooth extraction at Springvale Community Dental Health Centre, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Dr. Ahmad was truly exceptional his professionalism and skill were outstanding; I barely felt a thing during the procedure. He was incredibly polite and made me feel at ease the entire time. I’m writing this to share my experience so others don’t go through what I did, and will have to split it into two seperate reviews as it’ll take up too much text. If I could give negative reviews, I would. The first few times I attended, everything was fine. I had a sit and wait and instead everytime received a voucher that could be used at most local dentists. I had a very disappointing experience at the dental clinic at Springvale Monash when I took my mum in for an appointment. My mum was born in another country and doesn’t fully understand English, which can make communication a bit harder at times. One of the staff members spoke to her in a rude and disrespectful way, even asking if she could speak English in a manner that felt quite offensive. I visited Monash Dental Group Springvale for an emergency appointment for my five-year-old son who was in pain. While we were grateful to be seen, our experience with Dr Kim was concerning. She questioned why we came there instead of our usual dentist, even though it was an emergency. A cap was placed on my son's tooth without cleaning it first, and when I asked about it, I was told bacteria would die without oxygen or food. Service was bad. Dentists had told me and my mum both multiple times “do you speak English?” Only because we couldn’t understand what she was saying. I have really bad memory but for her to say “do you understand what I am saying?” In a very rude way was not like the teams respect. They will treat you badly and if you a kid that’s under 13 they will treat you like your 5 years old. I don’t recommend this place to others. As always it was the Indian woman treating us badly as many times said in the other reviews.
