I do not recommend this place at all. I have been seeing an actual psychiatrist with a medical degree. I have balanced my medication, but I have to find a psychiatrist in Missouri since I moved from California. I ended up having to see Marsha a nurse practitioner. I walked in and she already decided before I even talked to her to change my medication that I have been on for five years And tried to tell me about reactions to the medication. Do not recommend. They intentionally booked me for an in person visit knowing that my insurance only covered virtual visits. They won't return phone calls and did absolutely nothing to help. If anything they made my mental health degrade as opposed to helping.
We are new to Kansas City and were struggling to find a new psychiatrist for our two daughters. Samantha Russell with Monarch has been an outstanding resource for both girls so far, and we've found the office to be very responsive and caring.
Zero out of 5 stars, would not recommend. Was going through a hard tapering off a medication, I couldn't get anyone to return my messages or phone calls until SEVEN days later. They do not care about your well being. STAY AWAY.
