I love all the staff, clients, counselors! They all have been a family I can trust and lean on and I’m forever grateful for the Owners Debbie and Jim Duncan, and the Duncan family, who have went out their way to make every client feel special & at home! I love you all so very much! Thank you for having faith in me and guiding me through my recovery journey
This place has my heart and sole
If I could give this place negative stars I would. Ya the house is fancy and all that. But be warned if you leave either take ur belongings with you, or dont get stuck in a situation like i was in and get stuck away from the house and not able to come pack my things.the womens "sober living" house coordinator or w.e. she is, will tell you that she's going to pack your things with another staff member present but then actually let the other clients pack and go through ur things and let them treat it as there own free for all.... read more
i had went to every treatment center in portsmouth 6 years ago until i found Monarch! They have been the best and with me every step of my Journey of recovery! They dont give up on you and treat you like family! Its even in the name on the front of their facility. The Monarch Family! They are truly amazing. They have 30/60/90 day in patient, transitional living and outpatient. If youre tired if the same ole same ole and want a life. Monarch and staff is the path to a brighter future!
I'm currently in Transitional Living at the David House. I was at The Counseling Center for my first 60 days in recovery. They didn't want to let me go to Transition do to the Bed Availability. Monarch provided me a Bed the next day after my evaluation. The Staff is very friendly and I appreciate the program! You can not ask for more caring and considerate people then the Duncan family.
