My 2020 federal return was prepared incorrectly. Instead of using the standard deduction as instructed, itemized amounts that were not mine, were instead used, resulting in a refund to me. I didn't catch the error until after the return was filed. I had an amended return prepared elsewhere and I paid the refunded amount plus the corrected tax owed.
Butchered my return. Used deductions for someone else. Won’t pay for the interest and penalties assessed by the IRS as promised. Use this firm at your own peril.
