I had a referral sent from my PCP at my request. The doctors denied the referral stating I don’t need the service and my PCP informed me of this. I called OBGYN to explain why I need an appointment and that I requested the referral to get more information. I understand it is up to the doctor for these things, but the receptionist was very rude and refused understand that whether I needed a service or not, I am trying to get more information that my PCP can not provide me. I recently was seen as a patient with Monadnock OBGYN from my early prenatal visits through birth of my child. While I am new to the area and previously was a patient of a much larger hospital/network, I had some concerns going into my experience. Any and all worries and reservations I may have felt ahead of time were quickly resolved by the care and attention from the staff in this practice. Had an great experience from my first visit all the way through delivery. All of the staff that I encountered from the front desk to the nurses to the doctors, were all wonderful.
It has taken me 7 months to get around to posting a review - however, it is much deserved. I moved to NH from MA and was so glad I found Monadnock OBGYN.. My previous pregnancy (2nd pregnancy) I had a large hematoma and after weeks of monitoring, the hematoma resolving on it’s own. This gave some relief only for my water to break at almost 26 weeks. Horrible OBGYN staff they're awful! DO NOT USE THEM!! GO ELSEWHERE! They do not care about patients, they lose documents, they are condescending.
