worst experience i could’ve had for my first baby. got preeclampsia and was admitted. spent multiple days getting induced. i went to monadnock because i heard nothing but good things, and i had no good things happen. doctor stetzer was SO rude. awful bedside manner, arguing with me and my family while im very actively pushing and in labor, i had 2 failed epidurals and was told i should be in pain, when stetzer asked if i was in pain when i wasn’t pushing and i said yes i was ignored. stetzers cervix checks hurt so bad she “c... read more
The doctor did not document my appointment accurately or adequately. The doctor neglected to document most of our discussions, including my symptoms, concerns, and the diagnosis. I was verbally diagnosed with PCOS during the appointment. The doctor and I discussed a specific treatment plan for PCOS at length, including a hormonal birth control prescribed specifically to help with PCOS symptoms, and following up with an endocrinologist. I had a referral sent from my PCP at my request. The doctors denied the referral stating I don’t need the service and my PCP informed me of this. I called OBGYN to explain why I need an appointment and that I requested the referral to get more information. I understand it is up to the doctor for these things, but the receptionist was very rude and refused understand that whether I needed a service or not, I am trying to get more information that my PCP can not provide me. I recently was seen as a patient with Monadnock OBGYN from my early prenatal visits through birth of my child. While I am new to the area and previously was a patient of a much larger hospital/network, I had some concerns going into my experience. Any and all worries and reservations I may have felt ahead of time were quickly resolved by the care and attention from the staff in this practice.
