Thief, Liar & Slumlord. – My dealings with Monaco Devlopers and Mr. Vinas has been a nightmare. The man is a thief and slumlord. I rented a small two bedroom apartment efficiency from him under the impression the place would be repaired when I moved in. Initially the place looked clean, but upon moving in the pending repairs became the least of my problems. The place is rat and roach infested I discovered on my first night in the apartment. I am so thankful that Monaco Developers helped me purchase my first home – I have dealt with Monaco Developers and ended up renting a home from them. I was very happy because they not only went out of there way to move me into the house I wanted, but also helped me purchase my first home. The people I dealt with had a great attitude and helped me out even if it was after business hours. I have recommended friends and family that have been interested in renting or purchasing homes.
Worst property mgmt ever – I rent a house that Monaco is the Property Mgmt of although they raise the rent quite significantly each year their maintenance is horrible. The personnel cannot communicate with the customers and then they do slipshod work. In fact, if you do not stand over them they come, leave, and do nothing. They call and tell that they are coming and then never appear (they do not even call to cancel). I often question if their personnel even have their license, after watching some of their repairs. Avoid pruchasing from developer – Kendall Kingdom. Our interaction with Monaco Developers has been a nightmare that has lasted 8 years and counting. They have been unresponsive to the pleas of those that reside in the development. Our pleas are well documented with Miami Dade and the Miami Herald. Please read them before thinking of purchasing a home from Monaco Developers (buyer beware).
