Very good dinner. Wonderful romantic atmosphere. 10/10! Best date night spot on Water St. The meal was perfectly cooked and tasted excellent.
My husband and I went in for our anniversary-no reservations, the hostess was welcoming and very kind. She suggested we sit at the bar for some cocktails while she organized a spot for us! The place wasn’t packed, but there were a lot of bigger tables. She was great at explaining things to us and that she wanted to find us a good server that was able to tend to us promptly. Overall a mediocre place. It's fairly loud inside. The food is overpriced for the quality. The employees are paid poor wages and then the restaurant tacks on an 18% surcharge to every bill. It's just such a tacky thing to do and then to add a tip line on the bill. How many people fall for that every day? Just raise the prices accordingly and stop trying to trick and screw customers into tipping 40%+. I will never go back here again.
IMPORTANT: 18% Service Charge on subtotal. Shown on the menu I called this place as a last resort for dinner date, and they claimed they're filling up fast and will sneak me in. When I got there, the place seemed only a quarter full. The hostess took a few minutes of "figuring out where to seat us", despite there being plenty of seating.
