My partner and I came in recently without a reservation and the hostess looked quite busy as expected on a busy night. She still greeted us with a smile and got us a table as quick as she possibly could. Our server was wonderful too, smiles all around the establishment. Our food came out quick and hot with enough for us to take home as well. Will definitely be eating here again!
The food is incredible, 10 out of 10. However, The service is not great, Especially for the price point. When we walked in, we were greeted by a hostess that wanted nothing to do with us, and the waitress was friendly, but for $60 a meal, I’ve received better service at the Applebees across town. Don’t recommend if eating here is a splurge for you. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were sat in the back at a table at an incline. I felt like I was sliding backwards in my chair. Other guests were staring at us very obviously. The service was fine, but nothing like we received a year ago on our wedding night. I couldn’t shake the feeling that they wanted us out. My Mona Lisa’s experience rates well above the google rating. When you’re a traveller you rely on the rating and reviews but a local told me - go to Mona Lisa’s. From the moment I arrived, hospitality was great, bar service on point and the bourbon scallops recommendation resulted in a sensational meal. I gave a rating of five because they deserved it!
